- Rebuilt the Customer Hierarchy and Customer Master data pipelines, converting 2 Oracle packages and 1 function into Spark micro-batch jobs with multi-way self-joins across core sales tables and point-in-time Iceberg tables to preserve historical state; validated output row-for-row against the legacy pipeline and removed dead code carried over from the original implementation.
- Engineered a Kafka-driven PySpark alerting service that detects stalled Spark jobs across 200+ tables: consumed a Kafka topic, aggregated per-table activity into rolling 2-hour and 1-day windows, applied per-table staleness thresholds, and triggered Webex alerts via API, scheduled on Airflow every 30 minutes.
- Diagnosed a type-casting regression breaking 5 production Spark jobs by tracing it through shared pipeline logic to its root cause, then shipped a corrected, versioned implementation and repointed 4 dependent integration points to restore the jobs without disrupting unaffected consumers.
- Extended and debugged an existing Iceberg maintenance pipeline (daily orphan-file cleanup and snapshot expiration on Airflow/Kubernetes) by fixing bugs and onboarding additional Bronze/Silver/Gold tables; the resulting one-time cleanup brought the on-premises data lake from ~140 TB to ~70 TB, a level the daily automation has since maintained.

Engineered a lightweight, hardware-accelerated browser engine in modern C++23 from first principles, featuring custom HTML/JSON tokenization, recursive box-model & Flexbox layout computation, multi-tab isolation (up to 32 contexts), and an embedded Lua 5.4 scripting runtime with direct C++ DOM bindings.
Tiger Language Compiler to MIPS Assembly
Developed an end-to-end optimizing compiler for the Tiger language targeting SPIM-compatible MIPS assembly in pure functional OCaml, incorporating lexical analysis (ocamllex), LALR parsing (Menhir), static escape analysis, Appel's Tree IR canonicalization, and graph-coloring register allocation with spill handling.
Multi-Agent AI Interview Simulator
Engineered an interactive voice-driven mock interview system powered by a multi-agent LangGraph orchestration graph and a standalone Model Context Protocol (MCP) server over stdio, featuring human-in-the-loop pauses, dynamic Agent Skills, rubric scoring, and adaptive steering.
